Specialty Faith Builds

When a chord of many strands is woven together, the power of community is on display. For many, many years, Nashville's organized religious community has supported the ministry of affordable housing by linking together with collective members of their faith.

The Catholic Build comprises parishes of the Nashville diocese; the Methodist Build brings together congregations from the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) and United Methodist denominations; the Unity Build is a consortium of congregations committed to Interfaith harmony in our city representing Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hindu, and Unitarian faiths...all coming together committing their efforts toward the direction of their beliefs, simply stated, "to love our world and each other by building a home with Habitat."
