Directions: Take Brick Church Pike to Village Trail. Proceed to the end of Village Trail where it intersects with Ewing Valley Road. (Using GPS, search for the intersection of Village Trail and Ewing Valley Road, Nashville, TN 37207.) Turn left on Ewing Valley Road and follow the directions of Habitat staff to park. Please help us respect our neighbors and park only in designated areas. If you need handicap parking, please let the parking staff know. Then join us at lot 42 to begin your tour!

Applicants who apply for Village by the Creek homes in May or July 2024 may be eligible for closing costs assistance that can reduce the required amount to as low as $1500.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the full eligibility criteria (click green button below) as well as additional criteria for these homes, including:

  • Household size of six (6) or less. Only three-bedroom homes are available.
  • Minimum credit score of 600Applicants with no credit score will be given opportunity to prove credit worthiness through alternative methods (rent and other payment histories). 
  • Annual income limits as shown below.

*Four-bedroom homes are not available for the July 2024 application round.  A limited number of four-bedroom homes were available to those who applied in May 2024. May applicants with households of 7 or 8 will only be considered for four-bedroom homes. Households of 4-6 are sometimes eligible for four-bedroom homes but this is not guaranteed given limited availability, and also requires a minimum annual income of $48,000.

** Mortgage Eligibility Income includes stable sources of income for the applicants and may differ from Household Income which includes all income sources of all household members.

Income limits are specific to Village by the Creek homes as of July 2024.

When & How to Apply

Applications will open online at 9 a.m. on Wed, July 17 and will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31. The application will be accessed by clicking the orange button below. This button will not be active until the opening date. For information on all locations where we build and future application dates, click here.

During this application round, we may also begin considering applicants for 26 similar homes to be built in Park Preserve in 2025. Park Preserve is a Habitat built community with 178 existing homes and located 2 miles (5-minute drive) from Village by the Creek.  The entrance to the neighborhood is at Gwynnwood Drive and Ewing Drive, Nashville, TN 37207.
