Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville offers a volunteer team building experience few other nonprofits can offer, while engaging life in such a deep and meaningful way. Volunteers can work on a Habitat build site, teach in a HomeWORKS class, or volunteer at the ReStore. For more information on any of these opportunities, click on one of the buttons below.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville was one of 41 organizations in Nashville to be recognized for high-quality volunteer management with the Excellence in Volunteer Engagement (EVE) certification.
To be certified with EVE honors, nonprofits must adhere to certain volunteer management best practices: conducting volunteer orientations, distributing training materials, designating a staff member as a volunteer coordinator, including a volunteer program component in the organization’s strategic plan and more.
The EVE certification was founded in 2011 by Mayor Karl Dean, The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) and Hands On Nashville. On May 23, 2016, honorees were recognized at CNM by Mayor Megan Barry.
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
