JOB SUMMARY:

Retail position requiring strong customer service skills, positive attitude and outgoing personality. Must be able to work with staff and volunteers; be able to relate to people of different races, faiths, and incomes. Orchestrate the scheduling of donations for the ReStore, leveraging VONIGO scheduling platform , affiliate emails, PBX voice messaging and partnering with re-supply vendor on operating initiatives. Partner with Donation Ambassadors and Director of Procurement, communicating details of schedule and pick-ups. This is an in-person position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Schedule donations for the ReStore with individuals and corporations partners as needed  through the use of the Vonigo scheduling application
  • Responding to all donation related messages through voicemail and e-mail.
  • Dispatching pickups to driver as needed.
  • Creating truck driver’s travel route to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintaining relationship with donors through the life of the scheduling process.
  • Communicating regularly with ReStore Managers regarding wanted and unwanted inventory.
  • Participate and support agency activities as requested by management
  • Collaborative effort with re supply vendor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Represent HFHGN/ReStore as the site agent for donations and scheduling pickup of donations requested via phone and internet donors
  • Manage ReStore’s truck schedule.
  • Respond to all donation related messages through voicemail and e-mail, dispatch pickups to driver as needed.
  • Create truck driver’s travel route to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain relationship with donors through the life of the scheduling process.
  • Communicate regularly with ReStore Managers regarding wanted and unwanted inventory.
  • Determine the approximate value of the donations in order to maximize pickups.
  • Ensure all Donated items are of good resale quality by communicating standards to donors.
  • Coordinate truck maintenance with drivers and Facilities Manager
  • Works in tandem with Volunteer Coordinator to identify volunteer donation processing needs.
  • Offer and provide customer assistance at all times, cross train as required by Management
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all Habitat for Humanity International and Affiliate Policies and Guidelines are followed.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of high school (diploma or equivalent) preferred
  • Equivalent education or experience in job related activities.
  • Must have the ability and desire to work respectfully with people of all cultures, languages, national origins, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions, classes, immigration statuses, sexual orientations, gender identity and expressions

TIME REQUIREMENTS:

Tuesday – Saturday, Saturday availability required. 8:30 am – 5:30 am , 40 hours per week with occasional overtime offered. Regular and reliable attendance required.
