We build and sell homes to hardworking people in our communities.

We are an organization that builds, empowers and transforms lives

We are part of a global organization that seeks to put God’s love into action to build homes, communities and hope. We develop neighborhoods and build quality homes in Davidson, Wilson, Dickson, Cheatham and Robertson counties, bringing people together to transform lives and strengthen communities. We welcomed our 1,000 homeowner in December of 2022.

We provide housing support and social investment impact through our three ReStores, saving tons of materials from city landfills annually through our reuse policy.

Find Your Connection

We build, advocate and empower lives through our homeownership program, volunteer build site support, engagement opportunities at one of our three ReStores and by advocating for housing solutions at state, local and national levels. You can sponsor a build day, support an event, donate to any of the ReStores, or volunteer on the build site or at the ReStores to make a huge impact in your community.

Habitat’s homeownership program partners with individuals and families who qualify for the Habitat program and who buy their homes with affordable mortgages. We educate. Build. Empower.

We welcome individuals and groups who want to make a difference. Connect with your community and make new friends through volunteer opportunities.

Serve

Our calendar is full of fun and impactful ways for you to become an advocate and supporter of affordable homeownership in our five-county region.

New Habitat homeowner Kesha works as a branch administrator for a financial services company. I knew upfront that buying a home is work and I am willing and able to put in that work.” Kesha says the Habitat homeownership program taught her that she is not alone. When she arrived at the build site in the morning to see so many volunteers working on her behalf, she teared up and said, “I have been a giver my whole life. This is the first time I have put my pride to the side and asked for help. It feels GREAT to see so many people who want to help me.”

Innovative Partnerships

Innovation and partnerships create more opportunities for the underserved and are but one way we are moving the mission forward with three special initiatives.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville continues to execute its core mission of building homes, communities and hope annually building between 30-40 award-winning, quality homes in five counties. In addition, we are also casting a vision to do more… to be thought leaders and partners with other non-profits, government entities, and community collaborators to establish more housing affordability, vibrant communities, equality, and better quality of life for those who call Middle Tennessee home. See below for how we continue to move the mission forward.

Community Collaboration

Habitat for Humanity is leading a Community Collaboration to renovate the historic Parkwood Community Club ballfields, to help establish a 59-acre Metro Park, and build 26 quality single-family Habitat homes in North Nashville.

Advocacy

We advocate at a national, state and local level for more streamlined affordable housing protocols, equity, preservation and more affordable housing options throughout our communities through our work with Habitat for Humanity International, Urban Land Institute, and the Alliance for an Affordable Nashville.

Bridge Building

As part of an initiative that started at the White House in 2022, Habitat of Greater Nashville was selected to work with Interfaith America, Catholic Charities, nine other Habitat affiliates, and the YMCA to create bridge building opportunities to foster healthier, more inclusive communities across the country.
