Flood Relief Funding

The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) has been a presence in Middle Tennessee since 1938. MDHA’s mission is to create affordable housing opportunities, support neighborhoods, strengthen communities and help build a greater downtown Nashville. MDHA and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville are long-standing partners. MDHA made federal funds available to The Housing Fund for revitalization efforts in areas of Metro Nashville that were impacted by the historic May 2010 floods, funding deployed by Habitat to renovate homes for purchase by future Habitat homeowners. Once complete in 2017, almost 30 deserving families will become homeowners through this program.

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
